Post by: Pinux on April 01, 2016, 06:21:34 pm
I'm back! ;D And I have free time now so I would like to get some feed back as far as this little ship goes although I know that there is too much detail on it

The style reminds me of Raptor call of shadows. I suggest looking at their ships as an example of how you could improve it. I suspect you have too much contrast, and you need to balance the detail with space. Star wars is a great example of that.

I think it looks really cool, but also, I have a hard time understanding what it is. I wouldnt have guessed it was a ship if you hadnt said so. Are we looking at it from the top, or head on?

I think you need to define the form better and focus around that. This means clear edges, faces, or curved surfaces. Right now its kind of like a mass of christmas lights or something, you can't really tell what it is clearly or what angle it's at. Think of it as a 3D model, you know before they are textures they have facets that are very clearly readable.

Love christmas lights :y: ;D but I get do get what you are saying about it I'll try and remove most detail and see what I come up with
