Hey everyone,
I am working on a little turn based game and struggling to make some clean and fitting explosions.
Would you have some advice for me on how could I improve this? Or maybe point some tutorial with a nice technique?

The darker one seems a bit big, honestly. Perhaps something a bit more compact?

I will need different sizes - a big one from rockets and smaller ones from artillery...
