Hi, I'm new to this forum and pixelart.
I would need some inspiration for black and white pixelart. If anyone have any good examples please post them.
Google search didn't give much.
Thank you.

Do you mean greyscale or black and white only?
If you are talking about 1bit, I suggest searching for some art from the original gameboy; which is technically black and white even though it doesn't show up that way on the screen.

Yeah, grayscale is what I mean, didn't know what it was called. Is there any good galleries around? Preferably game graphics. And I'll see what I can find on google about old gameboy.

Let's not forget about the Spectrum -- loads of B/W pixel art made for that, since the only display mode required a maximum of two colors per 8x8 cell. Practically, that meant that color usually took a backseat to line and shade.

Just a couple bits of my work that might be helpful:
Here's some 1bit and 2bit gfx I did for a kindle game.

Game: Mystery Castle: Dawn of Illusion (http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Castle-Dawn-of-Illusion/dp/B005SSMKSY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1342772870&sr=1-1) & Mystery Castle: Winter's Night (http://www.amazon.com/Mystery-Castle-Dawn-of-Illusion/dp/B005SSMKSY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1342772870&sr=1-1&keywords=%22mystery+castle%22)
1bit and 2bit boats for another kindle battleships game (EA put out an official (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51YO68sFvyL.jpg) version so it got canned).

Wow those ships are way cooler than the ones EA did. You're good.

I agree. Those are some nice low color ships.
