Finding Every RE5 BSAA Emblem Location Without Losing Your Mind

Finding Every RE5 BSAA Emblem Location Without Losing Your Mind

You’re probably here because you want that Sheva Tribal costume or maybe you're just a completionist who can't stand seeing a 29/30 on a stat screen. I get it. Resident Evil 5 is a blast, but some of these blue plates are tucked away in places that honestly feel like the developers were trolling us.

Back in 2009, we didn't have fancy in-game maps for this stuff. You just had to squint at your CRT television and hope that blue glimmer wasn't just a lighting glitch. These days, whether you're playing the remaster or the classic version, the hunt is still a rite of passage. Let's get into where these things are actually hiding.

Chapter 1: The Urban Districts

Chapter 1-1 doesn't actually have any emblems. Don't waste your ammo shooting at the scenery there. The real hunt starts in Chapter 1-2.

Chapter 1-2 Public Assembly

Basically, you've got three to find here.

  1. The first one is in the urban district area. Look for a building with a balcony on the southern end. If you stand on the balcony and look across the street toward the adjacent building, it's right there on the wall.
  2. Later, you'll reach a house where black "goo" is dripping from the ceiling. There’s a ladder inside. Climb up, look through the broken roof toward a water reservoir in the distance. It’s perched right on the side of that tank.
  3. The last one in this section is easy to miss. After the boss fight in the furnace, you’ll head toward an elevator. Check the fence on your right just before you get on. The emblem is sitting on the other side of the wire mesh.

Chapter 2: Storage and Trains

This is where the game starts getting mean with the placements.

Chapter 2-1 Storage Facility

There are five here.

  • Right at the start, check the wall of the first warehouse. It’s hanging next to a ladder, pretty hard to miss if you aren't sprinting past.
  • After the bridge scene with the truck, go down the stairs to the north. Look under the bridge at the support beams. It’s tucked right under there.
  • In the marketplace area (the docks), find a tiny green booth that says "Charge" on it. You have to walk right up to the window and look up at the ceiling inside the booth.
  • Once the helicopter arrives, climb the ladder on the right. Look at the building across from you; the emblem is visible through one of the upper windows.
  • Finally, before you do the "Assist Jump" to toss Sheva across to the next building, turn around and look up. It's on a roof support near a destroyed pillar.

Chapter 2-2 Train Station & Mines

  • Jump on top of the train cars at the start and look west. There’s a massive electricity pylon. The emblem is way up at the top. You’ll probably want a rifle for this.
  • Inside the mines, you'll cross a wooden bridge. Look at the waterfall to your right. It’s sitting right in the middle of the falling water.
  • After you leave the mines and climb the long ladder, turn around and look toward the buildings in the distance. It’s sitting on one of the warehouse roofs.

Chapter 3: The Marshlands

The marshlands are a nightmare for navigation because of the boat, but the emblems are actually pretty distinct if you know which islands to hit.

Chapter 3-1 Marshlands

  1. The Telephone Pole: From the starting dock, look far to the north. There’s a lone utility pole in the water. It’s easier if your partner drives the boat close, but you can snipe it.
  2. The Chicken Farm: There’s an island in the middle with a bunch of chickens. Walk under the hut and look through the floorboards/staircase area.
  3. The Fish Farm: Go to the northwest settlement. Look up under the thatched roof of the largest hut.
  4. The Village: After you collect the slates and open the door, jump into the water and immediately turn around. It’s under the wooden walkway you just stepped off.

Chapter 3-2 Execution Ground

  • Walk behind the Tricell tents in the camp. It’s hidden in the gap between the two tents.
  • During the countdown sequence at the end, run to the end of the dock and look inside the small building through the bars. Do this fast; you're on a timer.

Chapter 4: The Ancient Ruins

Chapter 4 moves into the caves, and the lighting gets tricky.

Chapter 4-1 Caves

  • Near the start, you'll cross a stone bridge after a ladder. Look right at the small waterfall.
  • In the "Ancient Village" area, look at the structure supporting the reflective lens (the laser puzzle stuff). It's hanging halfway down the distant ruin.
  • In the Labyrinth (the area with the statues), head to the top level and look at the ruins above the green statue.

Chapter 4-2 Worship Area

  • This one is in the pyramid room with the light puzzles. On the second floor down, enter the north room and turn around. It’s above the door you just walked through.

Chapter 5: Secret Labs

Chapter 5-1 Underground Garden

  • Right at the start, walk around the right side of the flower garden. Look under the bridge that leads into the facility.

Chapter 5-2 Experimental Facility

  • There is only one here. After the second conveyor belt (the one with the explosive canisters), go down the stairs. It’s inside a dumpster. Yes, you have to look inside the trash.

Chapter 5-3 Uroboros Research Facility

  • After the boss fight, look behind the giant rotating fan blades in the next hallway.
  • In the room with the massive circular lifting platform, look at the eastern edge. It's hidden behind the floor grating of the control booth above you.
  • Before you take the elevator to the Monarch Room, walk behind the elevator shaft and look down.

Chapter 6: The Ship

Chapter 6-1 Ship Deck

  • The Long Shot: Right at the start, look at the very top of the radar mast at the back of the ship. You absolutely need a sniper rifle for this. It's a tiny speck.
  • The Container: When Sheva gets trapped in the cage, a Majini will come out of a container. You have to throw a grenade into that specific container (the one on the left) to destroy the emblem inside.
  • The Cabinet: The final emblem is in the room where you meet Excella. It's behind glass in a wall cabinet.

Why even bother with these?

Honestly, the rewards are the only reason anyone does this more than once.

  • 25 Emblems: Unlocks Chris’s S.T.A.R.S. outfit (the classic RE1 look).
  • 30 Emblems: Unlocks Sheva’s Tribal outfit.

Beyond the fashion, you need these for certain figurines in the Bonus Features menu. If you're going for the Platinum trophy or 1000/1000 Achievement points, you don't have a choice.

Pro Tip: You don't have to get them all in one run. If you miss one in Chapter 2-1, just finish the level, go to Chapter Select, and grab it later. The game saves your emblem progress immediately when you shoot one, so you can actually quit the level right after the "Saving" icon disappears.

Your next move should be grabbing a decent sniper rifle—the S75 or the Dragunov—and heading back to Chapter 1-2. It's much easier to clear these out on an "Amateur" run so the enemies don't bother you while you're staring at the ceiling through a scope.
