You're paragliding over a massive, glowing shape in the grass. It's beautiful. It's also incredibly frustrating because you know there’s a hidden "puddle" down there somewhere, and you've already spent ten minutes circling like a confused hawk. We’ve all been there. Searching for all geoglyph locations totk (Tears of the Kingdom) is basically the definitive "distraction" in the early game, but honestly, it's the most important thing you can do for the story.
If you just wander into these, you're going to see things out of order. Big mistake. You might find out what happens to Zelda in Memory 15 before you even know who Sonia is in Memory 6. It sucks. It ruins the tension. To get the best experience, you really need to visit these in a specific sequence, even though the game lets you tackle them in any order you want.
The Forgotten Temple Secret
Before you go hunting, head to the Forgotten Temple in the Tanagar Canyon. Seriously. Impa is there, and more importantly, there's a back room with a giant map on the floor.
This room is the "cheat sheet" for the entire quest. The murals on the walls actually show you the chronological order from left to right. If you take a picture of that map with your Purah Pad, you won't need to keep tabbing out to look at a guide. But since you're here, let’s break down where these things actually are and where those tiny Dragon Tears are hiding.
Every Geoglyph and Its Tear Location
Most players miss the tears because they look like just another part of the line art. Pro tip: Look for the tear shape that is "filled in" with solid color. The rest are just outlines.
1. Where Am I? (The Rauru Glyph)
This is the one the game basically forces you to do with Impa near New Serenne Stable. It’s hard to miss. The tear is right in the center of Rauru’s "third eye" on his forehead.

2. An Unfamiliar World (The Temple Glyph)
This one looks like a little castle or temple. You'll find it on the Tabantha Hills, north of the Gisa Crater. To find the tear, look at the very top of the temple drawing, right above the "door" section.

3. Mineru’s Counsel (The Purah Pad Glyph)
It looks exactly like the tablet Link carries around. This one is tucked between Eldin Canyon and the Lanayru Wetlands. Check the center of the glyph, specifically the "screen" area of the pad.

4. The Gerudo Assault (The Molduga Glyph)
Located at Batrea Lake, this one is a bit of a pain because of the trees. It depicts a curling dragon or Molduga. The tear is hidden in the curve of the tail, usually under some foliage.

5. A Show of Fealty (The Kneeling Ganondorf Glyph)
This is a big one on the side of a cliff at Sapphia's Table. It shows Ganondorf bowing. The tear is on his shoulder. Be ready to climb or glide carefully because the slope is steep.

6. Zelda and Sonia (The Queen Sonia Glyph)
On the Illumeni Plateau, you'll see a depiction of Queen Sonia. The tear is on the right side of her dress, near the bottom hem. It’s a pretty peaceful spot compared to the desert.

7. Sonia Is Caught by Treachery (The Scimitar Glyph)
Way down on the Southeast coast near Lurelin Village. It looks like a Gerudo scimitar. The tear is located on the crossguard of the sword (the horizontal part of the handle).

8. Birth of the Demon King (The Demon King Glyph)
This one is creepy. It's in the North Tabantha Tundra and shows a massive, menacing figure. The tear is on the far left side, near the "arm" of the glyph. It’s usually freezing here, so pack some spicy peppers.

9. The Sages' Vow (The Secret Stone Glyph)
Located on the Talus Plateau, east of Zora's Domain. It looks like a curved comma or a "secret stone." The tear is on the right-hand side, along the outer curve.

10. A King's Duty (The Gravestone Glyph)
This one is at Lake Hylia, on the western shore. It depicts a floral-looking gravestone. The tear is located on the left side, specifically on one of the "flowers" decorating the stone.

11. A Master Sword in Time (The Master Sword Glyph)
The final geoglyph is way up north in the Eldin Mountains, east of the Thyphlo Ruins. It’s a giant Master Sword. The tear is right at the very tip of the blade.

The Secret 12th Tear
You won't find this one on a geoglyph. Once you’ve collected all eleven of the others, a cutscene triggers and the Light Dragon drops a final tear. It falls in the center of the Rist Peninsula (the big spiral on the east coast of Akkala).
There's no drawing on the ground here, just a field of Silent Princess flowers and the final memory. Finding all geoglyph locations totk is a long trek, but seeing that final cutscene makes the hours of gliding totally worth it.
Honestly, the best way to handle this is to unlock the Skyview Towers first. Launching yourself into the air is the only way to actually see the shapes; from the ground, they just look like weird dirt paths. If you have the Travel Medallion from Robbie, use it. Some of these are in high-altitude areas that are a nightmare to climb twice if you forget to grab the tear the first time.
Open your map and mark the Rist Peninsula now so you don't forget where to go after the 11th memory. Once you finish the quest, you'll also get a huge hint about where to find the Master Sword, which is basically the whole point of the game anyway.
