- Stagger Your Builders: Don't have all five or six builders finish on the same day. If they all finish at once, you’ll have a massive amount of loot sitting around while you wait for the next builder to become free. Space them out by 24 to 48 hours.
- The "Wall Sink": Always keep one builder free if you are playing a heavy farming session. This allows you to dump every extra drop of Gold/Elixir into walls, keeping your "available loot" low enough that attackers will skip your base for an easier target.
- Isolate the Dark Elixir: In the current meta, DE is the most valuable. Place your DE storage as far from the Town Hall as possible while still being in range of the Clan Castle and an Eagle Artillery.
- Monitor the Blacksmith: Set a mental alarm for your Ore caps. Losing Starry Ore because of a full storage is a mistake that can set your Hero progress back by weeks.
