The boss here is the Chromatic Boucheclier. He’s got three heads and a shield that makes him a total pain if you’re just spamming basic attacks.
Pro tip: He is extremely weak to fire but laughs at ice. If you’ve been building Maelle as a glass cannon (which, honestly, who hasn't?), this is where she shines. Use her fire-based Luminas to melt his HP. Just watch out for his seven-hit sword combo. The first six hits are fast, but the seventh one is a "delayed" overhead strike designed to catch you if you're spamming the parry button.
Wait for that slight pause before the final hit. If you time the parry right, you’ll gain enough AP to end the fight in the next turn.
