The Four Rock Formations You Need to Destroy
Most guides mention three rocks. Some say five. It’s actually four specific clusters of bombable rocks that are clogging up the wind tunnels.
If you look closely at the lagoon, you’ll see wind gusts struggling to move through the arches. You need to clear these out to create a continuous stream of air that leads toward the pedestal.
- The Low-Hanging Fruit: Right near Kass, there’s a small rock formation in the water with cracked rocks. This one is easy—just toss a Remote Bomb or fire a Bomb Arrow.
- The Double Pillars: Just south of the first one, there are two rocks leaning toward each other like a mini Dueling Peaks. The blockage is right in the middle.
- The Archway Underneath: This is the one people miss. There’s a massive C-shaped rock arch. The cracked rocks are actually inside or tucked under the roof of the arch. - Check the wind: Look at the white streaks in the air. Do they lead in a complete circle toward the pedestal? If there’s a gap, you missed a rock.
- Check the "C" rock: Go back to the biggest arch and look at the ceiling of the arch. Use Stasis to highlight objects if you’re having trouble seeing the cracked texture.
- The Glide Rule: Climb the highest rock, jump, and do not touch the controller until Link lands on the orange circle. Let the wind carry him.
Once the shrine appears, make sure you activate the travel gate immediately. You do not want to have to do that wind-glide dance a second time if you accidentally warp away.
