The Krig C is basically that one friend who never lets you down. It’s reliable, predictable, and doesn’t kick like a mule when you pull the trigger. If you’ve spent any time in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you know that "reliable" is exactly what you need when a Mangler is screaming in your face and the horde is closing in on Terminus.
But let’s be real. You aren't just using the Krig C because it feels good. You want the drip. You want that Nebula glow.
Grinding for the BO6 Krig C zombies camo challenges isn't actually that hard, but it is a massive time sink if you don't have a plan. Honestly, the biggest hurdle is just the sheer volume of critical kills you need before the "real" challenges even start. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
The Long Road: Military Camos
Before you can even look at the fancy stuff, you have to pay your dues with the Military Camos. For the Krig C, this means one thing: Critical Kills. You need 2,000 of them.
Yeah, 2,000.
It sounds like a nightmare, but it’s mostly just muscle memory. Aim for the neck and let the recoil carry the bullet into the forehead. If you’re playing on Liberty Falls, the parking lot or the rooftop of the bank are prime spots for just lining up heads.
The progression follows a specific path:
- Slate: 100 Critical Kills
- Desert: 200 Critical Kills
- Evergreen: 300 Critical Kills
- Rugged: 400 Critical Kills
- Grim: 600 Critical Kills
- Stripe: 800 Critical Kills
- Oceanic: 1,000 Critical Kills
- Whiteout: 1,500 Critical Kills
- Purple Tiger: 2,000 Critical Kills
Once you hear that final "ping" for Purple Tiger, the real game begins.
Krig C Special Camo Challenges
This is where the Krig C gets its own personality. Unlike the generic headshot grind, these two challenges require you to use specific ammo mods and tactical equipment.
Crowsbane Camo
You need to kill 100 enemies affected by your Tactical Equipment.
Basically, throw a Decoy or a Stun Grenade. While the zombies are stumbling around or dancing toward the decoy, mow them down. It’s easiest to do this by training a large group, throwing a stun, and then just spraying into the crowd.
Sunny Splash Camo
You need 300 Eliminations with Cryo Freeze equipped.
Go to the Elemental Pop machine or the Pack-a-Punch terminal and slap Cryo Freeze on your Krig. This one is simple—just play the game. The frost procs often enough that you’ll hit 300 kills before you even reach round 20.

The Mastery Grind: From Gold to Nebula
If you've finished the Specials, you’ve reached the "Mastery" phase. This is what separates the casuals from the people who actually live in the Zombies menu.
Mystic Gold
The first big trophy. To get Mystic Gold, you need to get 10 kills rapidly 15 times.
This is arguably the easiest mastery challenge. Just wait for a decent-sized horde, line them up, and hold the trigger. Do this 15 times and the gold is yours.
Opal
To unlock the Opal challenge, you first need to have Mystic Gold on a certain number of Assault Rifles (usually all of them in the base set). Once unlocked, the challenge is to eliminate 30 Special Zombies.
Manglers count. Disciples count. Just go on a hunt. Terminus is great for this because of how frequently the mini-bosses spawn in the later rounds.
Afterlife
This is where things get sweaty. For Afterlife, you need to get 20 or more kills 10 times without taking damage.
This is all about positioning. Use your Krig C from a distance. If a zombie even scratches your pinky, the streak resets. Use the Frenzied Guard field upgrade if you’re in a pinch—it’ll help keep your armor up and the zombies away while you rack up the kills.

Nebula
The final boss of camos. Nebula requires 10 Elite Zombie eliminations.
Elite zombies are the big boys—think Abominations on Liberty Falls. They have massive health pools, so make sure your Krig C is at least Triple Pack-a-Punched and has a Legendary (Orange) rarity tool applied.
Pro Tips for a Faster Grind
Don't just mindlessly shoot. If you want to finish the BO6 Krig C zombies camo challenges quickly, you need to optimize your loadout.
- Deadshot Daquiri is mandatory. It snaps your aim to the head, making those 2,000 critical kills feel like 200.
- Rarity matters. Spend your salvage on upgrading the Krig's rarity levels. A grey Krig on round 15 is a pea shooter; a purple one is a laser.
- Extended Mags. You don't want to be reloading while trying to get those rapid kills for Mystic Gold. Slap on the biggest mag you’ve got.
The Krig C is a beast because it stays accurate even when you're panicked. Just keep your distance, aim high, and keep an eye on your tactical equipment count for that Crowsbane unlock.
If you're looking for the next step, start by jumping into a game of Terminus and focusing solely on those headshots until you hit Round 10. By then, you should have enough salvage to upgrade your rarity and start the real work.
