Beyond the Red Meat Part 2: What Most Players Get Wrong About This Streets Quest

You've finally finished dragging your heels through the first part of Skier’s grocery list, and you think you’re done with the shopping mall. Not even close. Beyond the Red Meat Part 2 is one of those quests that feels like a simple "grab and go" on paper, but in the meat grinder of Streets of Tarkov, it becomes a claustrophobic nightmare.

Most people die here because they don't understand the layout of the TerraGroup offices. They wander into the middle of the street like a lost scav, only to get dropped by a sniper sitting in the windows of the Pinewood Hotel.

The task itself is straightforward: Skier found out TerraGroup was laceing their food with a "lab-grade additive" to make it addictive. Basically, they were turning the citizens of Tarkov into junkies for high-end canned meat. Your job is to go find a red vial containing this secret ingredient.

Where You Actually Need to Go

First off, forget the mall. You’re heading to the TerraGroup offices located near the Beluga restaurant and the Pinewood Hotel. This quest is split across two specific buildings that sit right across the street from each other.

You’ll need the TerraGroup meeting room key. Technically, you can finish the quest without it if the item spawns in one of the open locations, but honestly? Just buy the key. It’s a cheap investment to avoid running four different raids because your RNG was bad.

The Five Spawn Locations You Need to Check

There are five known spots where the secret ingredient (the red vial) can spawn. You only need one.

Building 1: The TerraGroup Security Post

This is the building with the blue TerraGroup sign, right across from the green bus.

  1. The Locked Meeting Room: This is why you bought the key. Go inside, turn left, and look at the first door on your left. Inside the meeting room, check the bookshelf in the back left corner.
  2. The Open Office: If it's not in the locked room, check the door on the right side of the lobby. There’s a desk in the back left with a telephone. The vial often sits right next to it.

Building 2: The TerraGroup Offices (Across the Street)

Cross the street toward the yellow bus and find the alleyway. You’ll see a winding staircase. Go up.
3. The Entrance Desk: As soon as you walk into these offices, turn left. There’s a desk with a blue magazine holder. Check inside it.
4. The Back Cubicle: Go all the way to the end of the hallway to the last cubicle. There’s a laptop next to a small potted cactus. Look on the desk right there.
5. The Blueprint Room: This is a separate conference area. The vial is usually tucked inside or under the rolled-up blueprints on the table near the fan.

Survival is the Hard Part

Finding the vial is 20% of the battle. Extracting is the other 80%.

If you die, the vial disappears from your quest inventory. You have to go back and find it again. This isn't like a physical item you can shove in your Secure Container; it's a "quest-only" item that stays in your off-raid task stash once you survive.

Pro tip: If you have the "Evacuation Zone" or "Klimov Street" extracts available, use them. Don't try to run across the entire map to the Sewers unless you absolutely have to. Streets in 2026 is more crowded than ever, and the longer you stay in the raid with that vial, the higher the chance a stray grenade or a player-scav with a Mosin ruins your day.

The Rewards (Is it worth it?)

Skier isn't exactly known for his generosity, but the rewards for Beyond the Red Meat Part 2 are actually decent:

  • 21,300 EXP (Great for that mid-wipe push)
  • +0.03 Skier Rep
  • ~130,000+ Roubles (Scales with your Intel Center level)
  • 1x SIG MCX .300 Blackout
  • 3x .300 Blackout CBJ ammo packs

The real prize, though, is the unlock. Completing this lets you buy the Zenit RK-1 tactical foregrip (B-25U mount) at Skier Loyalty Level 4. If you’re a fan of high-ergo builds, this is a must-have attachment.

Actionable Next Steps

  1. Check the Flea Market for the TerraGroup meeting room key before you load in. If it’s over-priced, check the jackets in the Lexos area; they drop frequently there.
  2. Set your server select to a single local server to reduce the chance of stuttering when you enter the high-density TerraGroup area.
  3. Bring a smoke grenade. Crossing the street between the two buildings is a death sentence if a sniper is watching. Pop smoke, wait 10 seconds, then move.
  4. Extract immediately. Once the vial is in your quest tab, do not "play the raid out." Get to the nearest extract and hand that chemical junk over to Skier.
