Honestly, the first time I beat the boss in the Djinny of the Lamp level, I just ran straight for the goal. It’s natural, right? You just finished a pretty frantic fight against a giant, grumpy genie in a turban, the music is swelling, and that gold flagpole is sitting right there inviting you to finish the stage. Most people just hop on and leave.
But if you do that, you're missing one of the coolest secrets in the Feather Cluster.
There is a hidden astro bot djinny of the lamp portal that whisks you away to a secret level in the Lost Galaxy called High-Suction Hero. If you're trying to 100% the game or just want to see everything Team Asobi tucked away in this PS5 masterpiece, you have to turn your back on that exit flag. Literally.
Where the Hell is the Secret Portal?
So, you’ve just sent the Djinny back into his lamp. The arena is quiet. Instead of running forward to the exit, look behind you. You’ll see some rock formations and ruins that look like they're just background dressing. They aren't.

Climb up the rocks on the right side (if you're facing the normal exit). Once you get to the top of this little plateau, you’ll see something weird. There are glowing purple runes or symbols etched into the stone floor. This is where most people get confused because it looks like a dead end.
Crossing the Invisible Path
Here is the trick: those glowing runes on the ground aren't just for decoration. They are actually "shadows" or markers for invisible platforms floating directly above them.
You need to jump out into what looks like empty air. If you look closely at the air above the runes, you’ll see a slight shimmer, but mostly you just have to trust the floor. Use your hover boots (hold X) to help gauge your distance. As you land on each invisible step, the rune below will glow brighter, basically confirming you haven't fallen to your death.

Activating the Magic Carpet
Once you navigate those invisible steps, you’ll reach a solid stone balcony. There’s a rolled-up rug sitting there. Give it a quick spin attack.
Suddenly, you’re riding a magic carpet. It feels very Aladdin, and it’s one of those "only in Astro Bot" moments that makes the game so charming. The carpet will carry you high up into the air, far above the main boss arena, to a secluded platform where a bunch of your rescued Bots are hanging out.
You’ll see a bunch of gold leaves and a wire sticking out of the ground. Yank that wire, and the astro bot djinny of the lamp portal will manifest. This is the secret exit to the Lost Galaxy.

Why High-Suction Hero Matters
Entering this portal doesn't just give you a "completion" checkmark. It unlocks High-Suction Hero, a level entirely themed around the vacuum power-up. It's a fantastic stage where you suck up loose blocks to build platforms and bridges. If you miss the portal in Djinny of the Lamp, you’re essentially locked out of a whole chunk of the Lost Galaxy map until you come back and find it.
Quick Checklist for 100% Completion
While you're hunting for that portal, don't forget the other stuff in this level. It’s a busy stage.
- The Gravity Rush Bots: Both Kat and Raven are hidden here. Raven is particularly easy to miss; she’s hanging off a windmill blade near the end of the stage.
- The Jaster Rogue Bot: Early on, you’ll find a cannon. Climb the ladder at the back of it to find the protagonist from Rogue Galaxy.
- The Third Puzzle Piece: Just before the boss, there’s a giant pot. Break it. It’s hidden inside.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
I’ve seen a lot of players try to fly the Dual Speeder into weird corners of the map thinking the portal is in the flying intro. It’s not. The portal is strictly post-boss.
Also, don't rush the invisible platforms. If you jump too far past the rune's "projection," you’ll miss the hitbox of the invisible floor and restart at the boss arena. It's a short walk back, but it's annoying.
Actionable Next Steps:
- Re-enter the Level: If you’ve already cleared it, jump back in from the Feather Cluster map.
- Skip the Intro: Use the Dual Speeder to get through the initial canyon quickly.
- Finish the Boss: Use the dog-boost power-up to smash the Djinny’s head when he's stunned.
- Turn Around: Do not touch the flag. Head to the rocks on the right and follow the rune path to the magic carpet.
