Ilkke made me a tool which generates a random 16 colour palette quite some time ago, which was intended for a challenge thread (like this one).
It was lying around and I thought I would make a thread for it now and combine it with random sentences generated here.
So the idea is to illustrate the given sentence with the given colourpalette. Other than that there are no restrictions for size or whatever. You can animate as well.

Big thanks to Ilkke for making the tool and also thanks to Arachne for helping with finding nice sentences while I was making the banner

Nice one, ptoing! Just what I needed. I love the sentance- perhaps link us to Ilkke's awesome tool? Somehow? Working on something now, by the way! Happy for updates on pixelation

How long do I have to finish until the next palette and sentance? Is it set?

No hassle Shrike, I will make new palettes and sentences every or every other week, depending on how well this goes.
But that does not mean you can not do the older ones. It's kinda like the other palette thread which kinda died. Just do as you like

A couple of days ago I made a similar thing for myself, might be fun for someone http://caverider.com/temp/lolrandom.html (works best in Chrome/Opera but FF half works).
It is an interesting challenge, might give it a try.

Xelados Nafshir, i'm really digging what you were able to come up with for this activity.
if i could offer one bit of advice, it's that the background is kind of busy and distracts from the foreground.
it took me a second to see that it was a sink.
maybe you could try simply changing it's placement, and just move it up?

i've been racking my brain and finally kind of gave up, haha.

Not exactly polished... and er, I also didn't use all of the colors in the palette; Was that a requirement?

hmm, an edit isn't quite nessasary at this point (unless you really have an urge too) I will however, take your advice and attempt to apply the things you mentioned... gives me an excuse to do some more pixelation! Plus I think I kinda rushed it out in the open perhaps looking for some ideas on direction, which I guess I got.

In hexagon shape because I'm protesting bringing back the hex corpse collab. Oh hex collab v2, wherefore art thou? This challenge is nuttier than the dreadful palette I was forced to use!

Thanks, Xel! I'd say all of mine is pretty rough yet, and I'm perfectly content to say I'm aborting the piece and leaving it to die, I have to now focus ELSEWHERE!!!!

I've been working on this stupid thing for about a month, since this challenge came out, and decided I wanted to be done with it, so I rushed the crap outta' it today. You can tell the parts I rushed, and the parts I spent most time on. I would have spent more time on the rest, but I got tired of dealing with this thing.
Any hoo, yes, that is a cloud of flatulence underneath him, yes the perspective is F'd(per the norm with most my stuff), yes some bits look out of detail in comparison to other parts, and yes, it's a giant toilet(loo) with teeth...

Moar submishuns pleez!

you ask me?, I think that doesnt look rushed at all...not EVERYTHING in a picture has to be detailed and AAd to hell, some flat spaces for the eye to rest in are a good thing.

Your pic delivers the trippy promise that the pallete implies, always good to see your stuff mister B.O.B

First attempt at sub-pixelling. In GraphicGale, the timing was different - the transition in the middle was much faster.
