you should try and have the legs go straight when they hit the floor. right now it looks like the character has some limitation in the joints.
Image size doesn't matter! It's what you do with your pixels that counts!

Looks like its tiptoeing. Might want to go heel-toe instead of toe-heel when the foot touches down. And yes, as Kazuya said, the legs should extend more when they touch down as well. The torso is rotating the wrong way, with the legs. It should be going with the arms.

And exactly what viewpoint are we looking at this from? Looks like slightly above and obviously at an angle, but the feet should follow an orderly path along the ground plane.

Sorry for such a delay, I got caught up with other things.

-straight legs
-heel first
-torsorotation(i think)

another problem is that this is supposed to be for a sidescroller, but I'm not sure if it's at a side-enough angle. It's for an mmo, so being able to see most of the character is important, but I don't want it to look like he's not walking sideways, so what do you guys think.

*I've finished a single standing sprite, if you want to see that

Crab online! Problem solved :D

It looks very much at the moment like you're striving for iso. What's wrong with a straight side view? Have the character walk in side view but kinda sorta idle in something close to 3/4.

I was hoping to keep the head at the same angle, so that head items/hair wouldn't need tons of work.

Here's the sprite(i dunno if that's the newest version)

EDIT: I just noticed that the sprite is taller and skinnier. I'll fix later.
