My name is Dock, and sometimes I create pixel-art, sprites and 2D game art.  I'm a professional games artist, specialising in 3D and character artwork.  In my free time, however, I like to create lots of comics and games.

You can see my artwork here at deadpanda.com
and also at my blog

Recently I released Tumbledrop, which is a browser based game. This was the first game I've made on my own, but hopefully it won't be the last!

Hey, Just wanted to introduce myself, The names Andrew, im 20 from south wales, Hobbies include weight lifting and messing around with photoshop and Mspaint in my spare time. To be honest i have very little understanding when it comes to Pixel art but have been very fond of Isometric pixel art forms since i first joined habbo hotel when i was younger. I expect a lot of crit at the start but am very eager to learn and improve my skills so any pointers you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I've just subscribe but I've been around the board for a moment getting inspiration or training with challenges and activities...
I've never dare until now to subcribe and post... until now ^^

So here I am, Ashes, 37 from Belgium (so forgive me if my english is not perfect, french is my mother tongue)
I'm a pixeladdict trying to be pixel artist... As I came to drawing and pixel very late (32), I'm not really experienced.
But I'm willing so hard to improve myself in drawning and in pixel art...that I'm going on working (even if something I feel like I'll never reach the level I whish I had)

Huhu... talking to much again ^^...
See ya later

Greetings...

I'm an indie game designer from Pennsylvania. My first major project was Viking Bazooka Bloodbath, and currently I'm the project lead for Indie Brawl. I'm starting a new project soon, which I hope will bring my pixel art to new levels. That was my motivation to join these forums.

I've been pixeling for less than a year now, but the art style has really grown on me. I don't have a lot of work to show, and some of it is pretty old and in need of improvement, but here's a sample of what I've done so far:

Endure... In enduring, grow strong.

Hey everyone,

I am new here to Pixelation (well... sort of, I've used to be a regular on the old blue forum, and for sometime after until it finally went down.)

Anyway, I like the new incarnation, and just wanted to introduce myself.

Don't let my name fool you, I'm not trying to hardcore spam advertise you guys, but pixel-joy.com is my new project (I will be doing the art and the coding).

Nothing is even online now anyway, just a dumb go daddy holding page :P

Well, see you all around!

Howdy!

So, I do some indie game development stuff, which basically necessitates pixel art unless you have a little team going on, or have too much free time. Having neither of those, pixel art it is. I also just really like the style in general.

Anyways, came here to get a little better, and also to see everyone else's vastly superior stuff.

Hello.

I was shown this site by the user Pixel-Joy.com. I'll be the other person working on that project (see his introduction), mostly doing art and design work. I am completely new to pixel art, never done any of it before, and so I'm here to learn, find tutorials, see examples from others, and post my own work to hopefully get some help from other users of this site who are more experienced. Of course, I have to actually create something first. XD

Hi.

I'm new to Pixelation [Duh..]. I came to this site because I have nowhere else to show my pixel art [Pixeljoint is fine, but I don't get any useful comments there]. I'm Dutch.

I don't know what else to tell here =P

I come here humble, trying not to repeat the mistakes of the past, for improving my art and try to help the others improving their own when I can...

Hello Pixelation,

I'm a new user. I hope I can learn a lot and improve my art here.

Merry Christmas
