Outlook grim!

Helm, if I may ask, is there anything specifically wrong with my AA, besides it having some... stupid errors?

Just sent out a PM talking to the judges
Should get the results up shortly.

We arnt going to say who the overall winner was, or anything of the sort.
This is just an elimination competition. Not a grading / ranking challenge.
All that will be said is who moves on and who doesnt.

I think the next challenge should start in the next couple days. I'm anxious.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

Takam vs Scidt

Takam's design is solid, though I dunno if it's his. He's shown sadly, a great propensity towards mindless copying from design and games from companies etc. I hope this isn't from some Zelda game or something again. Good rendering, good colors, very dynamic pose. Also, cute. Seems it could be worked more, but for the purposes of this duel it's enough. Hope next rounds produce more worked stuff.
heheh, no need to worry, the only thing that came close to this being in some game was me considering making it into an enemy for twinsen :P thanks helm :)

and a big thanks to scidt for competing ;)

I think you could have improved it with some more colors. The max color limit was 32 and you used 5, I think. It's a big jump between each step (especially on the lightest color) which makes it look unfinished. You have some chunky jagged spots in your outline, which are then anti-aliased, which only makes them chunkier. I think you should have cleaned your lines up more, made the palette consist of more than one ramp, perhaps put your monster in a more active pose and, again, it would've benefited from a smoother ramp by adding more colors.
