Nah, no one would want to see that. I'm afraid we'd only bore everyone with our amature grappling.

From what I've read about it, there would be a lot of oiling up going on, so any grappling would probably look unprofessional anyway.

What about ancient Greek boxing? In some cases they would use rocks in their gloves to speed up the maches. Extra activities could include making pixel pieces with the leftover teeth.

pagratio was fairly hardcore, yes

Restarting. :/ I hate working on a piece for so long that I don't realise all the mistakes. Damn.

So Freaking happy :D
I've officially reached the halfway point in my image (foreground=99% Done, BG=1% Done)
B.O.B., you'd best watch your back. Your days are numbered. :mean:

Damn... I just now started mine. Wait, who has room for backgrounds?

I was about to ask the same thing. For great detail, I have to practically dedicate the whole piece to the monsters themselves, rather than implement a background. So far I have 5 pieces now, and only one is using a background....ugh, I really need to choose which one to send in.
my back hurts...

I don't think you will be juged on the background, I think the only thing that counts is the monster.
But maby they will judge how well the monster blends with the background...

i think that a background can make or break a piece.  a great one makes it that much better, a poor background can make the object in the foreground look bad.

so a background can help, or it can hurt.  from what i have seen of helm, flaber, and the other judge's comments, they will be judging the complete piece, including background...

but if i am wrong, feel free to smack me around for a few.

Bob, you really should have just devoted yourself to once piece like I did.

Yet i'm sure there is one of your pieces that really sticks out to you.

Who else is confident about this first round?
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.
