Hey there! So far I have only been animating nature stuff but I decided to give tiny persons a try. I am really struggling with this walking animation. It's aimed to be used for isometric places so I tried to tilt her that way, but it just feels like she's limping and I really can't put my finger on it as to why.

This is my very first attempt at a walking animation so any tips would be appreciated!
Also I am facing the terrible hair animation, any tips as to how to make it more realistic? I can't really determine where and when the "bounce" is supposed to happen.

I have tried looking and following tutorials but there's hardly any for isometric things. So I turn to you wonderful folk! (Also the 'feet' are meant to be hooves, that's why they look a bit odd!)

The back leg isn't extending far enough, remember that each leg should spend as long in the air and as long on the ground as the other leg!

I added an extra frame because I realized the back leg jumps from the far back to the front. Thanks for pointing that out! I think the transition is a tiny bit better now.

Thank you for the feedback, appreciated!

Getting closer, but you're still having a bit of a limp there because it freezes a bit when it's fullly extended on the left. Push the leg forward a bit more, and make sure the bobbing happens when she's stepping on her other leg too!

the reason it feels like a limp is because you have one head bob instead of two. The head should bob once per foot, when the grounded foot is directly below, because that is where the leg is straight and therefore pushes the hips up the highest, creating the bob. On the same line, the bob should happen to the entire torso, not the head alone.

Amazing advice about the single head bob! It didn't even occur to me.

I adjusted it a bit, I think it looks more natural.

Still unsure if it bobs in the right step, I honestly can't tell :/

Thank you both so far though!

She should bob down when both legs are at full extension. Look at some gifs and videos of people walking, study and learn from life wherever possible!

Oh not at all! First learning this stuff is always a bit of a process, I remember well my first attempts at animation. They were ah... rather painful.
It's always good to have patience when learning or helping someone learn a new facet of art!

Self bump!
I tried to make a quick spinning animation, but the feet just feel like they're spazzing out. Any tips?

I know the animation is a bit fast, I wanted it to be so I can get more of a feel of the flow. It looks -okay- when it's slower, but then I can't really note the hiccups.  :-\
