New to pixel art

on: March 05, 2017, 04:14:24 am
Hey guys so this is my first post. I've been working on pixel art for four days now and so far I've been really enjoying it so far.

Any recommended tutorials or good tips for a beginner?

Also here are a few of the things I have made, I am looking to start making some games and so that is my ultimate goal here.

Thanks for any critique.

First bit of advice is to think out bobbing animations more. Don't do the collapsing-spine thing, move and bend knees and spines to create a more believable motion! Think about how you'd do the same kind of idle stance.

I know I'm new myself but these pieces are REALLY good for beginning, I agree with Mystery, but if you want, redo them, size wise so you can do more detail, this'll also give you more opportunity to work on more refined animations. So My suggestions is remake them except BIGGER and experiment and play around from there!
