He looks like he's scraping his foot for a charge with how his foot shifts like that, you could roll with that and add some extra movement to accentuate it or you can move the other leg to make it more of a final-fantasy style footwork deal. Try to move the sword out of synch with the bob for more visual interest, too!

I made 2 versions:

In the first one I made some changes to the foots of the knight and also tried to make the sword bobbing to be more interesting.

I'm still not really happy with the footwork but i dont really know how to change it though

In the sceond one i made the right foot go in the same direction as the other one and also made the sword move slightly different:

I think it looks weird how he slides on the ground and also the swrod seems to be snapping back and forth

Hm, I think your problem is you're not treating the feet like anchors. At most the heel would lift off the ground unless it's a deliberate action, since the whole weight of the body is supported there! Instead of the sliding, perhaps try some crouching or swaying side-to-side!
Also, the sword movement looks more natural now, but I'd reduce just how much bob the sword has by a pixel or two.

This time i tried to make it look as if he is bending his knees.
So i kept the foot on the same position the whole time while only bending his knees.
I did two variations because i wasnt sure if one was to extreme

In this one I made him go forward with his body quite a bit:

And in this one I reduced that:

Ha, those look pretty silly. Can you post the original file? Assuming you use aseprite or Photoshop it's likely I can jumble up some illustrative edits

Drat, it appears that aseprite still can't open .psd files. Oh well, I'll try and do it manually!

Alright! Few changes here, I tweaked his foot to lift up at the heel slightly for a shift in position and made it so he freezes a little upon pose change to give him more of a natural "beat." Rather than a constant staccato wiggle, it's now more of a slowed shifting of weight.

The sword could probably do with slight rotation to make it less static looking, but for now I had to tweak it to be consistent across all frames since on one of them it was slightly shorter than it should have been. Other option would have been to keep the blade at that height but lower the arms, remember that it's all connected like that!

I looked at your edit and saw that you increased the number of frames from 4 to 6.
While that is no problem at all I'm still curious how I know when to use how many frames.

But now to my modifications.
I tried to make him swing back and forth more natural like you said, I also tried to shift his feet a bit while moving forward and backwards.

I also gave the sword a little bit of rotation to make it look more dynamic and not static.
