Loops with transition frames

on: November 17, 2016, 04:55:31 pm
I'm used to animating sprites in Adobe Flash... but I've wanted to sprite something original. I like flat or unshaded art styles, so hopefully it carried over to these sprites well.

All movements with transition frames

So far, I have an idle loop in there a transition frame and a walking loop with another transition frame that reverses back to the idle. Any thoughts?

The idle is fine, but there's a couple flaws with the walk: it's painfully slow, and the shoulders aren't moving at all, making the moving parts look kinda noodly.

I think the legs should start a bit higher up. Good stuff
