PICO-8!

Who else is into PICO-8!?
Just got started with it a few days ago.
It's fun!

I briefly looked into it, wasnt quite happy with the restrictions in terms of 1map only, didnt like the color palette too much either.
I adore the concept though, and if it weren't for lua i'd probably still experiment with it x)
i should dig it up and try it out again. although i dont expect much has changed since then

Yah their map format is a bit strange.
It takes the space of half the sprite sheet, which would leave me with only 106 slots left.  :blind:
So I'm thinking I'll code my own level format that is all data and skip using the map editor.

Hug Arena is fucking great, really well made.
Such a variety of cool interactions can happen with the single mechanic.
What a perfectly stupid theme too.  :P
