Commodore 64 game making

on: June 08, 2016, 01:02:08 pm
Hi everyone,

I belong to a group of hobby enthusiasts producing high quality games for the good old C64.
We sell our games with professionally printed boxes and manuals, along with other goodies.

What we lack is reliable designers for all kinds of works:
- box / packaging / cover art
- art for advertisements
- ingame pixel gfx (quite tough on a C64 due to very specific limitations!)

As we all do this without profit in mind, we cannot really pay anything decent, but depending on the game we might sometimes be able to pay a little something for a good work.
Currently I'm primarily in search of box cover art. You would of course receive a box of the final game (cardboard boxes!) and a lot of fame. I mean: what cool be cooler than making art for a brand new C64 game 30+ years after this computer was sold?  :D

Best regards,
