Cyangmou pointed out a cool place for streaming art:

Not that picarto is bad, but is there anything that makes it different from, say, Twitch or Hitbox?

the biggest difference ive noticed between this and twitch is that Picarto doesnt offer an archiving service like twitch does, but im sure they will if it gets more popular

but also, ive got the impression that twitch is quite strict about what you can stream on it? like it has to be game related? dunno if this would happen but maybe you could run into problems just streaming art. i think i mightve seen some pixelling on twitch but i dont know if thats because its ok or its just fallen through the cracks

picarto provides a good quality compared to other streaming services, because it is mainly for art.

I was watching Cyangmou , who actually suggested this site to me. This is how I even found out about it.

Picarto is usually where I go to see artist work and get inspiration. I would love to see more pixel artists there.

as far as I know just if you have premium.

This is a relatively obscure spot, twitter would mean people will get the message more immediately and conveniently, and be able to share it. Would also allow for people who don't normally follow the forums to join in, as well there would be a healthy amount of cross promotion between the lot of us.

Those are my thought on it. Happy to set something up if people are cool with it, just have to think of a name

Inspired by watching Atnas and PPD stream a couple of days ago, I've set up and tested my (new) rig for streaming as well and I might fire it up later tonight, hoping that it will motivate me to pixel or doodle something for the Daily Sketch thread or I might look through threads and stream editing stuff (not that I claim to know what I'm doing, hehe).

An earlier short test went successful (new rig seemed powerful enough to stream and record simultaneously for uploading it later):

Afair picarto only archives your streams when you're a premium member, otherwise you'd need to locally record and upload somewhere else.
