The red cap merges with the orange sky, and the light outline right over the metal part (on the right) looks off. Everything other seems fine to me, except that huge amount of the article "the" I had to use.

is it intended that the dog seems to be about to fall? the way it looks now the dog will certainly fall. if you want it to be more ambiguous or certain that the dog is going to make it i would move it up or decrease the distance between ledges. but if you want it to look like it certainly will fall, this is fine.

I actually think the dog looks like its just launched, and we have no idea whether its athletic enough to make it, or if the little boy can even pull that big ol thang up. i like it, and i like the colours.

i would make the boy pop more, heres an edit wot i did

more contrast, and saturation places. i tried to add more contrast between the boys own colours, and more contrast between the boy and the background. you could add more for sure. I also got rid of the outlines on the boy, they didnt make sense to me.

apart from that you also have some banding on the rim lights (i think thats what agent00x was getting at)

<edit> oh and i got rid of some of the colours in the boy, the shoes, backpack and furthest arm are now the same colour

great pic!

Probo Thanks a lot for your edits! I was actually thinking about popping boy a little bit with colors..guess I missed that in the end.???

Fizzick  The dog will make it...with tension though) Boy will grab her just in time and pull her up.

There is some banding going on where the edge of the balloon is. Here are a couple sample options for you if you'd like to avoid that.

I'm sorry, I wanted to finish this so bad, but I have a plane to take for Montréal in a few hours (then Boston & NYC woohoo).
I won't have a computer there, so I give you the unfinished work right now.
I made this because I fell in love with your style & color.

before :

after :

I guess you can have a good idea of how awesome your game will be with everything animated & parallaxed.
Take care about banding (I didn't correct it).
Here is the PSD with all the frames. If you want to reuse the dog, feel free !

Very cool and moody work! But you should finish this animation. What happened after that? I think boy is teleported too. And the dog runs back into ventilation to find him on a different floor of level. Thus the animation will be loop.

Also, I think this world is not enough some robots, just edit for fun:

winged doom, Thank you!
Dog must find a way to cancel teleportation of a boy. This is a scripted intro in this location, after this moment- the player will take control of the dog.

Yeah) If you have a nice game, put a few robots in there and it will be great) ;)

Hi everyone, small update on this title.

I finished one of the music tracks for this project. That's not a main theme, this will be played in a story line when a player discovers something he didn't expect  ;)

Train journey (wip)

I think I will show emotions and mood of characters with smile near the dialog

Sorry for x2. When I use chrome, images get blurry on click, so zooming this manualy to get the idea what it will look like in the game

Looking very nice. The blue/pink aesthetic is a combo I haven't seen before for a game, and it looks good.

I like the scenes, especially these in the wilderness. In the last animation, I think he should fall down straight. (looks odd otherwise)
A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. Yes we can!

Just wanted to pop in and say that this is all lovely. Really nice colour treatment.

One small nitpick, on the images with the moving rail/cart it looks like you have given the vehicle some light grey highlights here and there. This breaks the atheistic you've set up in your other pieces and flattens the asset out. The glass also looks a touch pillow-shaded here, it would work better as a flat colour.

All in all though your really killing it, looking forward to seeing more.

Skaz Thank you!
Currently working with ntw on art for this game. Check out some progress that we have  :

Little preview on the scene I'm currently working on. Later I will share a full size screen.  ::)

Hi folks, a few updates on this game.
I think I found a great composer, his music is just perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I hope to post a few tracks in the nearest future.

That was the first/main thing that bothered me too.
But it exists all around the under sides of the dark platforms and surrounding the white lights etc.
Definitely recommend smoothing and polishing some of those edges  :y:
