ryu, that u meh boi?
love the spooky octopus thing.
yes do the FesslerMethod, it's already saved my life a few times.

Dennis Dargon. my rdagron coloring is almost done.
very curious to see what coloring you do, if you'll color it all.
since doing such dense pencil texturing, to color it you'd probably have to either scan into Photoshop, boost the contrast way up and color digitally -or- use the pencil version once main lines are finalized to trace out a less densely detailed ink version for colored pencils then you could do a daily composition of doing some coloring - might be cool for a change. but . . . this would hardly be complacent  :shades:

I thought it might be a good idea to do a few quick gesture sketches ~

Mathias, if color, digital it will be. The physical piece will be pencils only.

@Wolfenoctis
Sure, no problem.  :)
Just a suggestion, try to divide the face into two parts(vertically), usually the nose will be around the middle of that line; the more the face is turned to either side the more the two parts will become imbalanced, with one bigger and another smaller. in the pic I edited for example, the two parts weren't that far from each other in terms of size, so the nose remained relatively close to the middle of said line.

More random stuff:
