Wikipedia has a lot to say on Purgatory.  It also has a bit to say in Spanish, but not as much as on the English page.  If you don't feel like reading that, it can be described in a nutshell as the area between Heaven and Hell.  Not a very nice place, but not as bad as Hell.
Always remember: a preposition is not something you should end a sentence with.

Purgatory can be anything. Your very own hell. My hell is a blank canvas and artists block.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

Eh...
Is another palette coming?
^Same question.

@Matriax: <3 the city scene. And I really like the purgatory one, but it seems pretty cluttered. What I'd do is use the second older verison, get rid of the eyes, and move HELL up a bit. But that's just me. :P

Great work everyone.
