Shes done now, I guess. Not sure if the colours look ok or not. What does everyone think?

Hi, folks! Finally got around to doing another update!

Threw some colour on Flareon now, added a temporary background colour (she'll be transparent in the end), along with doing some suggested fixes; and tried to make the head tuft look a bit better. If nothing else horrible sticks out like a sore thumb then I'll just keep going.

Thanks for all your help so far!  :angel:

Wow, I totally dropped off the face of the planet for a while; briefly lost motive and worked on other things. But, I've enjoyed catching up with posts, everyone's work is gorgeous!!

 @Wolfenoctis and Night - thanks very much for your ongoing tips! Getting used to plain walks is a better option for now. I have a bad habit of trying to run before I walk in general (literally in animations too, heh). And yes, I'm a very messy sketcher when animating, feel like I can't exactly sketch naturally like when I'm not animating, which is something I need to work on...

Here's a new walky ani w/o fancy foreshortening. The leg further away is a bit iffy when it drags back though, forgot to fix that...

@PixelPiledriver - Ah, your animations look so fun!

@Danmanr98 - That's really cute! Looking forward to seeing it finished. I need to practice backgrounds more.  :o
Update -
Used more guides, changed legs and arms, but still having trouble. Not sure I've really made a difference? Maybe I should just learn foreshortening more before animating foreshortened things... :-\ Also, excuse the blotchy brush mess, this was all neat as I was sketching on sai then animating on photoshop, but I then decided to just do everything on photoshop.

@Jam - thank you, kindly, happy you like what you see!  :angel:

@Wolfenoctis - I find that highly relatable.

@0xDB - That's pretty sweet! Kinda feel like sorting one of those myself. its even nicer seeing it animated traditionally

@Night - Thank you again! I'll do just that! Glad the website seems good for you. ;D

No walk update today. Decided to work on an animation study instead after seeing all of Wolfenoctis' studies. I enjoyed doing this, and wish I thought of doing it in the past. I feel like I've learned a bit more and plan to do these more in future. Can't get enough of sakuga in anime.

Becky from Pani Poni Dash! Ref gif here https://tinyurl.com/zezpbaf Sped mine up a bit, since that gif is slower than I realised, and yeah I only drew her face in the end, pfff.

@Wolfenoctis and Night - I really appreciate the feedback, guys! I'm humbled. :angel: Oh, yes, I have seen those images about! Thank you! I'm also happy I influenced you to do a walk cycle too. :P

Included guides this time, not sure they're right, but I see errors a little more. I also gave the arms a bit more life even though the closer one is off...

Turns out I already to know a good reference site too. If nobody knows heres http://www.referencereference.com/ didn't know the vids could be downloaded using flash video downloader.

@Jams - Your sprites are really lovely!

@Wolfenoctis -  :o Thank you! That's brilliant! Turns out I've been drawing and referring from exaggerated 'walks' all this time and it did look more like a run. I love your works and really appreciate you taking the time to crit. Do you know places where I can find good references like what you showed me?

And with that, here's an ACTUAL walk cycle after taking the advice.

Still trying to foreshorten. Also, wild arms appeared! Could've made 'em move less robotically, but later.

@Night - Thank you so much! ;D

Very rough walk cycle + foreshortening practice...Arms disappear bc they were confusing me and will be drawn on separate layers I think. However, seeing them like this has sorta given me an idea for the arm movement now.

Crit if you like.
