Such a long torso for such tiny legs! Legs and torsos should be about equal in length comparitively.

Pretty close! You got the thick outlines on the majority of her spot on, the only places where you're not getting that are on the earrings and crown! Try to redo the edges on those, and don't skimp on the colored outline! The black you're using for parts draws too much of the eye, the game screenshot itself has that same problem with her earring!

Some color changes, didn't change the forms any just made the greens more cooperative with the brows of the dirt to give it a less intense noise.
I wasn't paying attention to the tree much here, but hopefully this helps!

Don't base yours so closely off the reference. Use it less as a Do-This and more as a Do-Like-This.
Try some other shapes, like spheres or pyramids! You're not making any notable errors besides a bad fold continuity on the left side, the whole fabric seems to be going straight down from the shape yet is lumpy and jutting out from the contour of your shading here. That, the off-balance amount of material, and the colour choices make it look less like fabric and more like a petrified tree stump or a rock!

Some edits I did off of badtaylor's suggestion, I made the darker one fulldark for a stealth sprite and extended the sword inward witha more plasma-knifey look, since it appears to be glowing.

Hard to say without knowing what kind of background it's gonna be on. Think you could post a mockup?

Honestly it looks too much like a sled, wood is a bad choice for desert environments I feel.
Granted, I'm very VERY biased towards the scrap metal and rage aesthetics of Mad Max, but something made out of dinged up scraps up metal and rust might sell the desert look more.

For this specific design though, I'm noting that the sail doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You usually need an arm on the mast to keep the sail taut, even on small single-person ships. The lack of texture on the main body is pretty noticeable when the mast is as textured as it is, too. For shape, I'd try to avoid too standard a sled shape and maybe go for a sort of kayaky look instead.

For ideas, we actually have a similar concept irl called a Sand Yacht: https://www.google.com/search?q=sand+skimmer&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjMs-mTt5PPAhVI4WMKHfoHB6QQ_AUICSgC&biw=1600&bih=731#tbm=isch&q=sand+yacht&imgrc=AleS6j1p0Np8DM%3A

Alright, finally got time to work on this again! woo.
So, for starters, some mild tweaks to try and fix up some anatomical issues on pogoman (unsuccessful)

And an attempt at improving visibility and adding another character within the constraints of the multiples so it loops smoother without repeating characters, not sure how that would work though so here's hoping that doesn't ruin anything.

Thanks again for the help you offered piledriver, and if that isn't a thing you can do don't sweat it, I'm trying to find documentation on looping gifs so I can figure this out on my own better (nothing for any programs I own right now yet, but hopefully it pops up soon!)

Oh geeze, yeah sule's pretty right on the money. When I was glancing at this on my phone earlier I thought it was a from-above shot with no sky. I'd change the contrast a bit so it's more clear.

As a word of advice, make a contract BEFORE asking the work or it cones off as you just asking for artists to take a gamble on their own pay to make your own dreams come true.
Doing it afterwards is a big red flag.
