Crotch is too low again! Raise it up. Remember, the arm and front leg are going to overlap the body a bit!

His silhouette isn't terribly clear, it took me a bit to realize what his pose was. Try to define the arms more or give him a more sinister posture, like the classic monk hunch
The legs also feel a bit short.

As a general rule, foreground should be more detailed and background should be less. Things that are further away have less definition in our eyesight and things closer up have more. If they're RIGHT UP ON US they might blur out of focus a little, but I'm not sure if you want to go that far.
The bright yellow of the background isn't really working though I think, I'd fade that out some into more of a parchment color so it has a more storybook feel to it.

It's very noisy, try to remove a color or two here.

Looking at that foliage on the previous tree i think you had something therr. Try working on some background foliage and try to tilt it more towards the camera!
The new ones good as well,  same crit though.

Why not have him shift stance for the idle, like lift the sword up?

Aye, I usually count the waist as part of the torso and measure by the legs instead specifically to avoid this kind of thing!

No, not at all! Legs stay the same length when they change position, they just... change position! And from how he's pose here it looks like his bend leg is twice as long as his extended leg, that doesn't look right!
