I would recommend doing what tim did and putting the creature flat on the ground because it would only make further difficulties for the game. However, if you should decide to keep the head as it is, the current sprite seems to imply the creature is twisted and turned sideways due to the antennae so I recommend shifting one over.

Head is turned.

Here is the final edited slime btw.

Overall, the colors on the character are a bit cold but the low saturation gives a nice feel. The perspective on the spider thing seems a bit off. The skeleton (I presume it is) seems to have a very off balanced stance compared to the others. Other than that, just continue cleaning up the lines  :y:

Overall, I would suggest a bit more contrast to improve readability, as well as reduce some necessary colors. Read up a bit on anatomy and try to not have such a stiff pose for the character.  :y:
(Also what is up with the BG? Just curious :P).

The outlines are cleaned up nicely (though there are a few jaggies here and there) but what I've noticed is (at least from the mugshots) that you attempted to add texture on the clothing by simply scribbling on the shade, leaving lots of jagged lines and random pixels. This clashes with the smoother shading of the hair and skin. There is also a few other inconsistencies such as the hair of the guy on the very left being a different style than the rest and odd reflected light on the person with he bandana. Overall, they still seem a bit sketchy.

Well I can't since there would be a change background. Furthermore, the environment will be in a deeply shrubbed so there won't be much reflected light.

Here is a quick sketch before I clean it up. I increased the contrast (thanks Charelieton!) and varies the hues larger. I tried to make the mouth shape more interesting and added the "stomach" from Cyangmou's edit (which is an awesome idea by the way). I implemented the messy/slimy bottom from Satsumes along with a border like bottom from Cyanmou's.
Should I clean it up?
