Yep, that's me, funny how we are the only two people talking about our applications - one would hope others might want to use them given that this is a pixel art forum.  Never mind, perhaps they have had a look but just didn't want to comment?

I suppose that is the thing about developers, more into making stuff than marketing it!  As long as we are enjoying making things that's the main thing I guess.

Cheers!

Looks really good, I'll have to give it a go.

Actually I've just built a pixel art app as well but don't worry it's for iPhone/iPad - more like a months work than a years work in your case - so it's not competition. It should be live on App Store within a week or so. It's called Pixel Art Pro, check it out if you have an iPhone/iPad

Cheers, Dan

Hi All,

Just to let you know I've created a pixel art app called Pixel Art Pro for iPhone/iPad.

I found many of the other pixel art apps didn't have support for animation or had limited import export options, so I decided to make my own.

It took about a month to develop it and I've just submitted it to iTunes for review. All being well it will be live on App Store within a week - I'll keep you updated.

Here is a short demo of the iPhone version:

I've tried it on my old iPad mini but yet to try it with an iPad Pro using the new pencil thing - I assume it will work with it, but I've not added anything to specifically target the pencil as the input device - if anyone has one I'd be grateful to find out.

Keep up the good work my fellow artists and developers,

Cheers, Dan
