Pixel Art / Re: [C+C] Cupboard

Thanks both of you for the feedback. Some really great insight I have to apply as soon as possible. Sadly I am currently a bit in stress, so it really will take some time until I can get to it and post an update for review, still great many thank.

Pixel Art / [C+C] Cupboard

I thought of working on some props for a non-existent game as practice. So I took it upon myself to challenge myself with a warped/curved/stylized cupboard like one I spotted in an old Game Boy Advance game. After banging my head against it and a lot of tweaking I produced something decent but it still feels like it reads poorly, especially the edges and corners. The four edgepoles are higher than the top plate ,the sidewalls are slightly higher andd the boards inside the frame are a bit further in than the wall so there is a gap (just saying that even if it doesn't read that you guys/gals know what I was going for)

Any help apprichiated

A little fun piece...learned a bit on it but still not perfect. Feel free to C+C.^^ Especially on the hands I was clueless and the boots also look strange.
original size 64x128 and and around 5-6 hours of work if anyone is interested.

That was the reference I used.

I hope I can explain the pose. Left foot points away from the viewer, right foot to the front. The left arm is behind the right one and holds the hilt below the right hand. But I will see to it to fix the pose...it seems it doesn't read well. D:

So I heard a new TOME episode came out (a webseries) an thought like I would do a fanart of one character.

I do like it...but something is off...the cloak seems stiff, the lower hand is a mess and some other areas like the hair and the head are grinding my gears. Any guidance, corrections or tips how to fix it?

"The odds of any of the old crowd being around, much less remembering me, seems pretty slim. But maybe there's still one or two around here. If so, hi!"

Well...I didn't know you are pixeling too...but I am a follower of your artwork.^^ I think my first real indepth look at your art was through your video on masterstudies. Really helped me a lot.
Still a beginner and learning on my side...but one day I want to be as cool as you :)

THx for the idea with the teture/contrast...

What I am aiming for with it. Getting used to Asesprite. Not more..to learn the functions, hotkeys and get a basic understanding of the workflow. I think I should upgrade the animation to...it is still a bit static.

I am pretty new to pixel art in general, so I have problems to judge my works in any way. Is something wrong or is something right.
So I would be more than happy for any kind of feedback. And since before one can get feedback he needs he needs some piece he wants feedback on:
The TOG II...a british WW2 tank based on references from wargaming/world of tank. One time static, and one time with moving tracks
Main questions are: Am I on a good way? And can I improve something? Where did I mess up?

Since it is my first time...I hope I broke no rule and if than I am terribly sorry, because I never wanted to. Anyway I am thankful of any input, feedback, or valid criticsm.
