Pixel Art / [WIP] Fruity RPG Tree

Just some tree I am working on.

Intentionally a tiled one based on the GraalOnline Tree formerly known as Zelda Online, a modified one...
this one's a bigger version and obviously different...

So basicly, it's for an RPG project.

Little open about critique, but not open for very big changes :p
Sidenote as always, it doesn't support layers.

Still in the WIP Stage.

Hello, I'm getting desperate here right now...I can't seem to find a way to tile the tree properly for the mass-effect of dense forests without getting weird grid patterns...

Can you help me with this, pixelation community?

Currently it's like this:



But in the mass it gets the X grid...
A solution to fix is to weaken the shadow, I know, but i don't want to fulfill that compromise x_x

Thought I should post a WIP Log at times to show people how I pixel, in some ways... or so...

Doodled it right now, and yeah, it's a bit bigger than my usual stuff but I have my Avatar phase right now, harr...James Cameron ftw?
I'm such a fanboy...
the colorcount will be approx 70 or so, knowing me, maybe -/+ 6

i cant seem to make a good side sprite of the front view
the sprites will be used for a ninja-based game like naruto so it has to look more anime-stylish :3

so i ask you to give me some hints please =/

yea...im a naruto fan and wanted to help a small group of developers who are working in a game...and guess what...yea...its a naruto game :)
maybe im going to animate the tails even tho it will take long...

took about 2 hours

dont steal it -.-!
