Pixel Art / [C+C] Getting back into pixel art
« on: April 20, 2017, 04:40:01 am »
Hello! I'm trying to get back into pixel art and looking for some critique on how to improve since what little i knew about pixel art is long gone and forgotten  :blind:

made this little house inspired by artist Mateusz Urbanowicz watercolor series "Tokyo Storefronts"

i was looking to be a little minimalist but im thinking maybe thats just too boring but I'm not sure how to improve it without making it look too busy

Pixel Art / [WIP] Becandied!
« on: January 15, 2009, 09:03:18 pm »
hello there  :)

i absolutely love bejeweled games of all sorts, dunno why but i can play that for hours... lol
anyway a while ago i decided to pixel one myself with some candy (couldnt really think of something better after my jewels were much fail haha)
but then i got stuck somewhere, i dont feel its finished at all and still missing something and probably still needs a bit more detailing but im just not sure where anymore, been staring at it for 2 days now figuring that out, doing some minor tweaks here and there

here it is btw

(the clock item is suppsed to refill the timerbar to the left if you destroy it along with 3 other candies, the bomb destroys all candies around it if its destroyed along with 3 other candies)
im grateful for any suggestions and critique  :)

Pixel Art / [WIP] Dragon
« on: November 09, 2007, 06:52:07 pm »
so ive been getting a little bored today of playing games the whole time and decided to pixel some and cause i need practice with curves (and cause ive just seen the terrible movie 'dragon wars' ) i decided to try a dragon.

but now i feel kinda blank and dont know what to add to it, it just looks pretty plain now, so any suggestions are welcome and of course any c+c on it so far :)

edit: heres a rough color version

currently trying out a few things for the scales to looks right
