General Discussion / Tiling in Photoshop

How do I get a tile I'm working on to automatically tile without having to set a pattern and use the fill tool? It's a bit annoying.
Not sure which forum to ask so it goes here. Move if I've done wrong.

I flipped it before doing the pixelwork.

Initial stages. Not so much a cry for C&C as a progress thread, so here is the beginning w/ frame and composition. cnc still much welcome as always.
For my movie series summary turned live action novel now turned comic book on tumblr called "Train Brain Brian". It is massively inconsistent and terrible and this will be a kind of cover page for a plot arc taking place in snowy mountains, but I have decided nothing about that yet. I'll shoot for pixel refinement because I like the idea of the pic, though the rest of the comic is quite rough and slappy. :ouch:

Pixel Art / Walk Cycle for Doomlike Fantasy

I'm going to be working on a doom-style fantasy FPS with a friend soon. It's important I make the sprites readable and good-looking, but also simple enough I can make a lot of them.






I'm working in photoshop, and I have transparency as a 45/55 grey checker, so I am working more or less on a 50 grey background.
All criticism appreciated, harshness accepted!  :)

This is a little project I've been working on the past couple days.
Left is WASD, right is arrow keys. To parry, make the same attack the other character is making.
Currently it's only a local multiplayer game, but I'm going to be working on a rudimentary AI. If you have friends around, I'd appreciate if you gave it a little try and let me know how it plays!  ;D
Planned features: Fatigue system, multiple wounds, changing cosmetics, kill counter, AI, (possibly) online multiplayer, (possibly) more attacks/blocking.
