Job offers / Terrain Needed for 2D, Hex-Based Game
« on: January 08, 2017, 01:54:52 am »
We are currently seeking artists with experience creating terrain for games. Our game is a strategy fantasy-theme game, and for it we need several kinds of hex-based, 2D terrain (for example, forest and mountain terrain). Terrain is to be drawn realistically, utilizing darker rather than brighter colours.

Terrain tiles must be drawn so as to blend well with other terrain tiles on the map. That is, every individual terrain tile must be drawn in such a way as to blend well with other terrain tiles, creating a cohesive terrain image (for example, a cohesive and continuous forest or mountain range spanning several hex tiles).

Artists who can provide terrain tile samples, especially forest and mountain terrain, will be considered first. Also, if you have a rough estimate of the cost per tile, please provide one.

Job offers / (PAID) 2D Icons Needed for Fantasy Game
« on: December 28, 2016, 07:30:07 pm »
Hello,

I am currently seeking basic pixel art for a fantasy-themed computer game. What I am looking for are simple, 2D pixel drawings, in colour. Specific things I would like include icons (e.g., arrows, stars, shields, and other weaponry), buildings (e.g., library, city hall), and borders and backgrounds (for example, scrolls of paper and parchment paper). In total, I am seeking between 50 and 400 pixel drawings in total.

Image sizes will range, depending on the image type. For example, icons will be 64 X 64 pixels, while larger borders would be up to 600 X 800 pixels.

Payment per drawing is negotiable, depending on artist's experience, and number of drawings completed.

If interested, please contact me, and send 3-4 samples of similar work. Artists who can provide relevant samples will be considered first. Please contact me at beck.a.lennox@gmail.com.

Job offers / [PAID] Fantasy-Theme 2D Pixel Art Needed
« on: December 28, 2016, 06:28:03 pm »
Hello,

I am currently seeking simple, 2D pixel art. In total, I am seeking between 200-1000 drawings for a fantasy-themed computer game. Stylistically, I would like illustrations that are realistically-drawn (i.e., not comical or abstract), including, for example: dwarves, elves, goblins, wizards, swords, fireballs, and horsemen.

I want 128 X 128 pixel drawings, very simply drawn (i.e., dark outline, some shading, and minimal detail). All images must depict characters from a front view, and be full-length (i.e., the entire body of the character must be drawn, and no close-ups of just faces are needed). Drawings in color are preferred.

Our budget will accommodate simple drawing styles only, and artists will be hired based on their ability to meet the above specifications.

Interested artists will please provide 3-4 samples of fantasy-theme 2D pixel art, or art from a related genre. Also, artists who can provide a rough cost-per-drawing estimate based on the above specifications will be considered first.

Hello,

I am currently seeking between 200-1000 drawings for a fantasy-themed computer game. Stylistically, I would like drawings that are realistic (i.e., not comical), including, for example: dwarves, elves, goblins, wizards, swords, fireballs, and horsemen. I am willing to discuss both small and large contracts (i.e., as few as a dozen illustrations, and as many as 200+). No animation is necessary.

I would like 128 X 128 pixel art. Highly detailed illustrations are not necessary: what I am hoping for are illustrations with a black outline, main features visible, and some shading. Colored drawings would be ideal.

I am offering payment for all services. Interested artists will please email me (beck.a.lennox@gmail.com), and send 3-4 samples of their work, either previous fantasy art, or work in a related genre.

Regards,

Rebecca Lennox
