I'll play.

  :)

I am particularly fond of gymnosperms, large rocks, spacecraft, and Granville Redmond.

Is anyone keen on a freeware program with a similar feature to Cosmigo Pro Motion that allows for tile editing? (editing one tile edits all similar tiles in the image)

I find explicitly discriminatory or racist things hilarious.

I'm not racist or discriminatory by credo, however I wouldn't hesitate to make a gay joke. I view all groups as equal, however some stuff is too outrageous to pass up.  :)

It must be really nice to be a straight white male and not give a damn about anybody else.

Tell this to the black kid who has half my GPA and gets picked over me by the college admissions office.

Affirmative action "Ho!"

edit: just because a piece is not serious when dealing with issues of hate crime, race, gender, violence and et cetera, doesn't mean that it is not valid.

define: satire.

@ sharprm & Dusty: Pregnant ladies and babies are not a persecuted minority group.

Non-minority = fair game.

wait, are you seriously suggesting that a piece of art depicting the murder of a pregnant woman is somehow less vulgar than the murder of a homosexual? Sounds like you're creating the line of discrimination here.

I encourage Mice to defend his original piece. Perhaps I will mockup Triumph of the Will.

I would _love_ to see this turn into an NDS Homebrew! But gamemaker can get the job done. There are games that shine with gamemaker, you just have to be knowledgeable.

I still cannot understand what people see in that game, how boring.

Pixel Art / Re: Mutant soldier! From a lineart by Souly

When he turns toward the viewer, his head's volume seems to shift. It's obviously just the result of rough select->drag->redraw animation, and i'm not saying that it's a bad approach, but i think more attention should be paid to what volumes first frame suggests, and how it would change in such a rotation. Right now it looks as though the head gets thinner, and then just turned as if projected on a flat plane, with minor shifts, it sort of ruins the organic feeling of all the other subtle motion.

Needs more polish, but i'm digging the whole thing quite a lot. Souly's lines are perfect material for your ambitious animation endeavors.
