Well, well, since the last set of rules caused a bit of a conflict around, I decided to scrap it away and pick a different way to choose our winners.
Firstly, both winners from the member's poll and the mod's poll will carry on.
Additionally, I set up a new poll with all those entries that had more votes (after the winning entry) since most of them were really close with each other (ranging from 13 to 17 votes)

Hmmn, Percival's smilies are always on top (combined), however the vote is always split between outlines and none. I trust the mods will make a good decision (no outlines) if it comes to those smilies.

So far I haven't liked any of the winning sets, and Snake 2 is the only one that I like with any chance of getting in it seems...
My next choice would be Ptoing's, but that seems impossible now.
Frankly, I find Percival's boring, and I sincerely hope they don't make third place.

I disagree Faceless, although I didn't vote for him. Perciv@l's are simple in the perspective of pixel art. But when you look at what he was trying to ddo with, which was making "Pixel Smilies" which is what he basically did. They are pretty much pixels with expressions, hence- "Pixel Smilies" Now I may not have put that in the best phrase of words but I hope my point was clear.
I will not say who I voted for, but it rhymes with "Blake"

that's too bad, I felt that Faktablad's were great, and really had a lot of potential.
I don't really like Percival's for some reason, I can't explain it. But I just don't think they're pleasing to look at. I suppose it must be the eye shadows. It makes the :) seem like a creepy pedophile, in my opinion.

Actually, the eyeshadows were kinda buggin' me, too, but if you lighten them up a bit, it'll be an all-gravy slip 'n' slide adventure via cavities long taboo.

While Faktablad's are nice I don't think I'd want to see those in every post...
I voted for snake, I was cheering for snake(4) though... :/ I felt the ruggedness and simplicity could've gone over great.

That was so hard to choose. too many good stuff there.. Is it very bad to implement 2 or 3 set of smilies? <joke, it probably might cause some inconsistencies> :(

I think the AA on snake's entry is pretty bad, so if we will be using them, I propose someone fixes that...

It's not fair, seeing as MOST people either like perciv@l 1 or 2... It's splitting up the votes for that general style among a slight difference. injustice!

but the point is, if one were removed, the majority of the voters of the removed one would go to the other, and vise versa. However, if another was removed, the voters would probably distribute their votes amongst all the others in some sort of equal fashion... you see?

Even if you add the two together they're only 5 points ahead of Snake 2.
If you took away the outlined version, and made the vote between Snake 2 and non-outline Percival, then I'm willing to bet Snake 2 would pick up the majority vote.
Hopefully Snake 2 can win outright. They're much better... even with the shoddy AA.
It's a shame that Ptoing's aren't doing much better than they are, and I think he would have picked up significantly more votes with a better palette.

I guess each to his own, but I prefer Perciv@l's with outlines.
And indeed, if snake's wins, the AA should be fixed.
Also, I don't think it is much of a problem if a template doesn't win or whatever. As I mentioned in the other thread twice or so, if you want, you can finish some sets and then they will be considered for addition. So if it doesn't go through it is because you didn't want.
