Title: [CC][Newb] NES - First real sprite besides following tutorials
Post by: lights on June 15, 2017, 03:56:03 am
It's my first real sprite. I just used a picture of a NES and went off that. I'm not completely satisfied with the edges but I didn't know what was wrong with them or how to improve them.

Let me know what you think!

Try playing around with antialiasing, which is using different (usually softer) versions of the edge color to create the impression of softer lines! It's usually used in normal art as an automated line thing to prevent a certain kind of compression artifact, here's a sample to show the concept!
