Title: Not sure if i'm doing this well

Hello all, I started today on pyxel art, after watching a lot of tutorials I did my first pyxel art is a 32x32 golem and I want to know how can I improve my art, duno if its a good size, or if I should start drawing all with a black outline or no, can someone paint it and show me how to do this better? thanks !

First I drawed this:

Honestly? Pretty good for a first go. Dude looks like he's doing a cannonball, so he'd probably make for a good stage hazard.

Try and to an uncoiled form of him though, just so you have proper reference of it!
