Title: [PORTFOLIO] Pixel artist for hire
Post by: Danielclarc on February 15, 2016, 08:24:50 pm

Hi, My name is Leona Clarc. I've been working as a pixel artist since 2013~14 and have already been through a bunch of very different projects which allowed me experiment lots of techniques and different styles. I love what I do, and that's part of why I always kept experimenting different styles whenever I got the chance to.

My personal preferences when drawing. I like using fewer colors and smaller sizes, making the most out of a limited amount of stuff is something I like to put my work on. I really like to draw fantasy and Particle animations, but I often pendullum between RPG fantasy and futuristic/cyber stuff and I get super pumped up when I got to work on those things, besides that, I'm confident with animation but I can also handle some environment, other themes (given a bit more time to study). Not really a fan of more "realistic" styles or making stuff without being able to give my own input.

Also don't forget to follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/clarcosa (https://twitter.com/clarcosa)  :y:

Well, enough talking about me. Here are some examples of my work

GAMES

First of all you can check My itch.io page/ (https://leclarc.itch.io//) for some jam games

Lately I've been mainly working on Bloodless (https://pointnsheep.itch.io/bloodless)

Just signed up to leave this feedback. I had Daniel create and intro for a new youtube channel I'm starting. From a few lines of text he was able to build exactly what I wanted. Really easy to work with and happy to make changes I requested!

Really awesome work, couldn't be happier with it.

Hey guys!
I just signed up to leave a big thanks to Daniel!
He did an amazing pixel art animation for me, involving a bearded man, zombies, a lightsaber and lot of special effects! ;D
A pleasure working with him. He quickly understood what I was looking for, delivered and even made improvements.
The iterations are painless and he isn't scared to work!
Will work again with him for sure!  :y:

Thanks Daniel!

Another former client here. Daniel is a skilled sprite artist and animator.  He works hard to create realistic motion in just a few key frames.  I'm happy to have had the chance to collaborate with him.

Hey thank you for your interest. I like your portfolio, the shinto temple building sprite you included is similar to what I'm requesting for this project. Okay so more information, I would need 4 themes, one urban building, medieval tower, japanese architecture, the fourth is yet to be determined perhaps another urban one I'll get back to you on that one. As far as the size of the blocks goes, my mockup had 222x90 size blocks but that's flexible. I'd also like the bottom base block to be a little bigger than the others. The central blocks should be made in a way so that they're easy to repeat.

Could you give me an estimate for the cost? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Daniel has been my go to pixel artist for projects big and small due to his skill, creativity, return time, and affordability.

If you need pixel art, Daniel is 100% the guy you want on your side.

Thanks, Daniel!

Just registered to post some feedback for Daniel.
Really good price for a number of really nice icons, speedily delivered and clearly knows what he's doing as he wanted to see where the icons were being used so he could style them to fit my game.

Highly recommended, even if you're in need of something that isn't necessarily exactly as his portfolio shows as mine weren't!

I'd suggest you change your avatar, the black flashing is a bit annoying while reading your first post, it may turn some people off and then you lose a potential client. Maybe just keep the various faces and take out the black frames ;)

I registered to post about my experience working with Daniel. He produced a number of sprite assets for our game project, and they were uniformly excellent quality. Daniel was also attentive to detail, flexible, and worked really well in situations where had creative leeway, as well as ones with more rigid guidelines. Some of his excellent visual designs even served as inspiration for our item design & abilities. On top of it all, Daniel's friendly & positive personality, and enthusiasm for his art, made him a true pleasure to work with.

All in all it was an excellent collaboration, and I'd strongly recommend Daniel to anyone looking help with pixel art. :)
